EDI Tool for Developers

The eFileManager is a user-friendly utility for viewing EDI files of both ANSI X12 and UN/EDIFACT standards in a more comprehendible format by parsing the EDI file into recognizable units (e.g. loops, data segments, data elements etc), and displaying them in a hierarchical tree with their descriptions and values. The eFilemanager can also analyze an EDI file in accordance with the SEF file loaded, and displays any discrepancies it finds.

The eFileManager also has other functions like editing an EDI file; converting an EDI file into free-form XML; and also sending an EDI file over the Internet either by email (SMTP) or FTP.
